I’ve come to appreciate being a jack of all trades
I’ve come to appreciate being a jack of all trades
I try to remind myself that when I do say yes, they’re never quite as happy/appreciative/etc. as I expected or hoped for.
I try to please the people but the people aren’t even pleased, ugh.
If a tree falls in the woods and no one sees it, will it ever fulfill its destiny of becoming a stick?
Also, this is what I hate most about open work spaces. It’s hard to stay focused while also feeling very vulnerable.
I do it subconsciously, 100% of the time. I’m always aware of potential threats.
While this news pleases me, I wouldn’t say I feel uplifted
Fuck those A/C units that require leaving a card in them to work
I meant to reply directly to you: https://lemmy.world/comment/17040636

Interesting. I heard that chicken needs to be cooked to 165F. Do you let it rest (and does that get it to eventually reach 165F?)
I just want juicy chicken that won’t give me diarrhea!
D) all of the above
Have you tried switching detergents?
Good call. Someone recently introduced me to the idea of putting lotion on while still in the shower (after the water is off, but before toweling off) and it’s helped me stay more consistent with moisturising.
Oh wow!! Now that’s impressive
That cable/wiring setup is going to be expensive
Speaking of retired gifs. Perfection. I truly LOL’d.
Turns out it’s on the back of a chair, sandwiched between the sedimentary layers of not-dirty-but-not-clean clothes
