It’s true, but I also can’t bring myself to say it!

It was the only controller I could ever play first person games with!
Track-ball mode on the right TouchPad is just… chefs-kiss
I love my steam deck but I’m extremely disappointed by the TouchPads compared to the steam controller
Unfortunately you cant, that’s why they are getting thrown out and looking at paying 1500€ soon
For me, I like that it isn’t overcomplicated and just works. It being basic is a big pro to me.
I can see what you’re saying, but at this point Elon is the most powerful person in the US, and certainly more powerful than any politician (even Trump).
I don’t think everyone realizes how unbelievably, dangerously rich Elon is. The dude is a moron, but he has enough money to buy out all of our politicians many many times over.
These are crazy popular in and around London, even among fairly ‘normal’ people.
The housing crisis is just so bad that they are comparatively quite affordable (even once you include the long-term/ongoing costs).

They have paid plans to keep your number, but I tend to just use new ones whenever one expires.
It might not suit your needs, but it’s worked pretty reliably for me for the past 10 years or so.

Immigration can provide opportunities to a country but can also cause issues and it’s undemocratic and dangerous to demonize either position on the issue.
That’s been my thoughts as well.
Eliminate income tax on anyone making less than, say 500,000 per year. Then aggressively tax wealth and those making more.
Is this a MASSIVE shake up? Absolutely! Would it likely be a bit messy? Definitely!
But we are at a point where such fundamental change is necessary
I got -30% for not writing comments for my pen and paper java final.
Somehow it just felt a bit silly to do, I guess
It’s the perfect mix of low skill for and outrageously high skill ceiling
Yeah the reality is that Biden was 95% going to lose to Trump. Picking a new person is usially a huge risk, but in this case there wasn’t much to lose.
As things stand right now, Trumps chances of winning just went down a bit. Worst case, they pick someone terrible with similar (non-)chances to Biden. Best case, they pick someone who wins.
In most European countries governments are elected for 3-6 years (though they may end up happening more frequently since, most places, it’s possible to call early elections). The campaigning only really happens for 1-2 months before the election.
The fact that the US essentially spends 1.5-2 years campaigning for a 4 year position is insanity to me!
ECB@feddit.orgto World News@lemmy.world•Germany’s doner kebab becomes symbol of angst over rising costsEnglish3·10 months agoThere was one place where i was living where you could get one for 2.90€ as recently as 2018. It wasn’t the best, but it was great value.
I moved around then, so I have no idea what it costs now.

With experience you get better at finding good, working solutions quicker, but there will always be times when things take a bit of iteration.
I know right? I always bought Logitech specifically because it always ‘just worked’ everywhere for me.
ECB@feddit.orgto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What universally beloved videogame you just can't enjoy?31·11 months agoSounds like me, I love deep multiplayer games. Dota and tf2 are my biggest loves. I generally just get bored of single player games.
The witcher 3 I got about 5 minutes into before giving up.
That being said, I absolutely loved Baldurs Gate 3, so maybe that’s worth checking out!
It’s a different sport that originated in Mexico but has been expanding fast throughout South America and Europe.
I think Pickleball is more of a US thing
