The knife looks long enough you could probably cut 1/3 of each apple while they are placed side by side, which might be easier and safer to cut than stacking the apples.

Its gotta be, the devs of the game would want you to trust the advisor so they’d make them charismatic and friendly.
FireRetardant@lemmy.worldto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Is it weird to juggle in the park?21·13 days agoIve seen this a lot and i don’t think it is weird. One thind I’ll mention is people are probably going to stop and watch you, ask questions, maybe even ask if they can try. If that won’t bother you while practicing then I’d say go for it and get out there juggling. You could probably leave a hat or something on the ground and people will toss you a couple of coins just for letting them watch.
Carney even mentions this fact during the conference stating something along the lines “Canada is the US’ biggest client”. I can only imagine how hard Carney must have bit his tongue anytime Trump rambled wrong facts about how economies work.

Manhunt in a 1/2 acre backyard would be way more boring than access to various parks and forested areas.
There are also activities like sports, camps, boy scouts/girl guides that kids can participate in to get outdoors time.

We cant just keep letting cities build outward and cover farmlands with endless swathes of single family homes and barren lawns.

Experts say it won’t work157·16 days agoI get the sentiment here, but a half acre is a lot of land and the development of large suburban lots is a big thing that contributed to the housing crisis in north america. We need to diversify housing and increase the number of 1000-2000 sqft apartments as well. Relatively small homes on smaller lots (1/4 acre and under) should also be being built.

Who is right?1·16 days agoI’d much rather chat with a stranger than stare at my phone while waiting around in public. Connecting with strangers over some simple things can be surprisingly heart warming in an increasingly isolating world. Even just chatting about a good deal on soup or enjoying recent sunshine makes my day a little bit better. If you chose to chat with me, my day would be better.
Families wouldn’t know demons walked among them until the photos were produced. Usually by then the demon clued in and left its host without a trace before it could be exorcised.

The extra modes of transit gave more options to move people, painting a custom park area made cities feel more realistic than premade square parks, universities could be a great centerpiece for a neighborhood. Its not like vanilla was unplayable, but the DLC defintely added more creativity for me.

Many people have emergency generators or battery back up pumps if their sump pit has a lot of flow.
Also rural people will often lose power to their water pumps and disinfection equipment for drinking water.

No one should be forced to be with someone they fear because of finances, childcare, safety, or loneliness.
Not all shitty partners induce fear. I’ve known some girls who are just head over heels due to how attractive, wealthy, or mostly sweet a guy is. The good times outshine the bad times and they get into the “i can fix him” mentality. My brother is like that where he has gotten away with cheating with nearly every partner he has had. It usually takes the girl months to finally leave him and say its been enough. Hes the chad gym type and genuinely doesn’t have to try to pull women. Any time they threaten to leave he gets all sweet, shows up with gifts and acts romantic and sexy just to get caught cheating again next week.
We need to be hard on ourselves sometimes and push manipulative people out of our lives. I think an erosion of IRL friendships has influenced this trend as well. I used to know girls who would band together to help a girl get rid of a shitty guy they were infatuated with but that is much harder to do online than in person.
FireRetardant@lemmy.worldto World News@lemmy.world•‘I don’t date at all now’: one woman’s journey into the darkest corners of the manosphereEnglish337·22 days agoI agree, and in my opinion, women and partners in general need to get better at leaving piece of shit men (or shitty partners in general). Many of them keep acting like this cause they get away with it after some small talk and a nice dinner just to be a piece of shit again next week. I’ve known girls who date men who genuinely claim that women shouldn’t be allowed to vote and all i can think is “why is this girl staying with someone who hates them?”
FireRetardant@lemmy.worldto World News@lemmy.world•‘I don’t date at all now’: one woman’s journey into the darkest corners of the manosphereEnglish2393·22 days agoI think part of why she didn’t seen men fighting some of the shitty stuff online is due to the echochamber effect of those communities. Any resistance is downvoted, dogpiled with hateful comments, and maybe even removed by a biased mod. A lot of the good men who would defend in those comments don’t even browse those specific forums because of how toxic and shitty they can be.

Im curious to see where CS2 stands in 3-5 years when mods have really taken off and the devs had made most of their major tweaks.

Lots of respect for Doug Cockle, the VA. He could use the outcry to try to get another big deal and make more money as the main character, but instead he recognizes the witcher is bigger than him or his character and is happy to have another person take the lead role and the spotlight.
