It’s been a while since I’ve gone through a whole day being proud of my US citizenship. Today was one of the most shameful.

From my viewpoint, Trump is and will be causing social hardship much more than economic hardship.
I could possibly see a benefit in preparing for a harder times socially. Further division among neighbors might be the main casualty of this administration. Social cohesion is already struggling from his first four years.
Economically, I have no confidence in Trump’s actions overall, but I am very confident that his massive ego determines his actions, and that ego is largely held up by the performance of the stock market. He will be very careful not to take any action that will rattle the markets too much. Whenever he see a negative reaction in the markets, he pulls back, claims a moral victory and moves on to the next thing.
Yeah, Bernie definitely shouldn’t run, but I mean policy-wise I like Sanders a bit better.
For all of those priorities, Harris is pretty darn close. Definitely the closest we’ve ever seen.
I can’t tell you what to like and not like about her. Who would you like instead?
I’d personally prefer someone like Sanders on the policies, but, as a progressive, Harris is much better than anyone I’ve had the opportunity to vote for as President, ever.
Honestly, I really like Harris, but I’d still prefer Sanders.
There is nothing they could do to dissuade me at this point.
They could dissuade you before? You probably shouldn’t be listening to the Russians regardless of who the nominee is…
And proceeded to shoot her in the face. WTH…
Unexpected? He and Josh Shapiro were the immediate go-tos for basically all the news outlets after Harris emerges as the frontrunner for the nomination. Not sure what this headline is about.
That being said, I’d love to see either Kelly or Shapiro on the ticket as VP. Could get some great things done.
Yes and yes
Americans care too much about their cars and the junk they’ve spent decades collecting in their garages to start a civil war.
Well, I think a lot of people bought a Tesla before Elon went publicly nuts.
I was personally saving to buy a Tesla, but now I’ll be buying an EV from a different company.
I’m not sure that being perceived as the “favorite” is something that either party wants at this point. Being the favorite comes with a bunch of negatives.
Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.
Romans 13: 1-2
Of course, in the US, that is only valid as long as the President and Congress are Republican.
Well, they have money on the line.
It will be Josh Shapiro or Mark Kelly.
Or Mark Kelly. Regardless, it’s probably going to be a white male from a swing state to appeal to as broad of an electorate as possible.
Screw Elon
I would have turned out for Joe, no question. Any day. I’ll also turn out for Harris or any of the other Democratic frontrunners. The alternative is Trump.
So much for the 1st Amendment. Guess that’s only valid when it fuels the Trumpsterfire.
