There is a line and if you are worried people don’t like you anymore because of these movies you probably crossed into the former. The movies are not problematic, but unfortunately the way some people get into them is.

To emphasize: This is not automatically your fault because you enjoyed watching a show.

Media is full of things like this and there a few people that take fandom too far. They are characters and we are intended to hate the characters. Should we feel empathy as we watch their journey? Yes but empathy shouldn’t forgive the crimes they commit. We can feel a connection to their pain but take the lesson and instead of idolize, try to do better.

My understanding is many of their changes were merged back into Freecad for the 1.0 release.

Re: marketing etc comment at the bottom

This is certainly marketing, whether for the product or the service. However, it’s also got an educational component which is why I’ve enjoyed Slant3D’s videos - I have no use for a print farm service but some of the ideas and principles they want to encourage still apply to my hobbyist designs. That said, whenever I talk about 3d printing with friends and family, someone will talk about doing it as a business and I point to a service like this for that.

There is certainly a grey area to balance but I would lump this content in educational and worthy of discussion. And that’s probably the biggest thing to encourage with a post here - where is the discussion going when sharing content. As a community grows in volume of posts, stricter standards and forking off communities for different niches need to happen.

I’ve been running a pair of Sennhesiser PC 350’s for something like 10 years now? Not sure. I used to game a lot more than I do now and eventually the ear cushions started falling apart. I was dreading replacing them though, and ended up getting some replacement cushions from Amazon or something. Was super easy to replace and they’ve been like new for the last year now. I’m a hardwire all of the things type person, and generally a cheapass so yeah, overall happy with this purchase!

I grew up with PB in the cupboard. *Never *had a problem with it. My wife on the other hand, PB goes in the fridge. She swears it tastes bad if it’s not kept in the fridge. Other than taking up more space, I’m not going to argue with the person that is most likely to eat the stuff.
