As someone who recently had to quit cold turkey from being a heavy daily user due to job change and a drug test (I had 6 weeks to be clean), I can confirm that physical withdrawal symptoms exist and are not pleasant. Includes night sweats turning into nightmares, upset stomach with loose stools, and loss of appetite. Lots of warm baths to combat the fatigue of withdrawal. Heightened paranoia due to the situation.

Would not recommend. If you’re a heavy user and need to stop/T-break, taper down first, or work with a mental health provider.

Sounds like an issue of being unable to get into the market (that you continued to propogate). Young people are poor, so they’re unable to compete.

I work for a psych clinic where the head doctor rarely turns down same-day appointments, while his schedule is fully-booked to see multiple patients/15-20 mins. We’ve slowly bled providers over the course of the last 3 years and haven’t really replaced any of them. Turns out, it’s hard to hire when you have a reputation for low salaries and nefarious contract negotiations.

Each specialty may have their own story, but we definitely see constant issues of being overbooked AND understaffed.

Who watches the watchmen?
