It’s all related isn’t it? People are too busy and tired to parent, but society pushes/shames them into having kids. So the result is people having kids and pushing society to parent them, then getting upset that this kind of parenting doesn’t work.

Inner child work isn’t for everyone. Luckily, there are many methodologies, like you mentioned. The main purpose of inner child work is to process the stuck emotions/ the stuck grief that left you emotionally stuck in whatever age the trauma happened. You’re not erasing anything, you’re acknowledging what happened and feeling the feelings that you originally shoved deep inside. This is how you reach the unmet developmental milestones.

To compare - many of my friends are immigrants too (from the former Soviet Union) and grew up poor in the states. And they don’t understand why others who had more opportunities than them weren’t able to “make it”. They view being poor a choice and they don’t want to subsidize people who made the “wrong” choice.

I’ve now come to the belief that enough t supporters need to be negatively impacted and start voicing their concerns and start taking action - not voting for far right, maybe doing another insurrection against t this time. Nothing will change in the us as long as the r citizens continue to support this regime.

I live in a very red area and there are flags everywhere. But I’ve seen several houses take theirs down. There will be hope when having a flag up means something else. Until then there isn’t much we can do besides help our people/local community.

With that said, the d’s need to have their own project 2028 to actualize, and I don’t think they do because the party needs to be revamped. The geriatric unit needs to retire. The r’s and d’s have more in common than we acknowledge.

Yeah. I’m really confused about that too. These people support antisemitism but also are pro Israel. Someone said that it’s because the Christian’s need a church built there so that the end of the world would come. Does anyone know if this is true?

When I moved to America I adopted this personality. All it is is a script for me - I talk about observations in the current environment, the weather, comment if I like someone’s outfit/bag/shoes. It’s not genuine interest, although sometimes I get bored and talk to people.

Yikes. I’m sorry that you’re in this situation. Is your partner working with someone re his depression and add? Are you getting support? At the end of the day, the only person you can control is yourself.

For me personally I can’t handle that type of behavior. I was working closely with someone like that and i ended up leaving. I felt terrible. Aside from her issues, I really liked her and she was very knowledgeable but working with her caused me very high anxiety and I just couldn’t deal with it.

It’s like being in a highly dysfunctional family. They do crazy shit then blame you for your natural response and tell you that you’re the problem.

Yup. I created a narrative that the d’s gave up because they believe that this would be the only way to get the r’s onboard with basic stuff like universal healthcare. Otherwise they’d riot like they did on 1/6. But… the d party hasn’t changed strategy and they’re a geriatric unit who refuses to step aside for the future of the nation. So now my narrative is that they’re unprepared and don’t care. They’ll benefit financially from this dictatorship and that’s all they care about anyway.
