In somewhat decent states we have it. Oregon does 12 weeks paternity leave and allows it to be intermittent. I did 2 days off for several months recently for our newest screaming asshole of a baby.
A lot of people have no business getting degrees imo. I watched a lot of people be academically successful, but absolutely fail at learning anything. Which translated to being useless and unemployable. I have an MS in mechanical engineering and saw people graduating who couldn’t physically understand basic loading but still got their degree.

I buy $1k cars sometimes, but they usually don’t run. A $3k car will be usable if you know how to turn wrenches, have space to work, and own multiple other cars for when it breaks down.

In most states that don’t have specific laws about them its considered distracted driving. I wouldn’t wear them because it opens you up to legal scrutiny if you do fuck up while driving. Insurance will throw you under the bus the moment they can prove you had headphones on.
Why not say you are doing it, then just don’t. Constantly act like you don’t know why it’s not done, take forever to reply, pretend you thought it was already done, etc. Resistance isn’t hard in these situations.

I just got back from Atlanta, Georgia, and holy shit I almost forgot how bad road infrastructure could be. 5 blocks from a grocery store and it’s basically illegal to walk to it. There technically are crosswalks, but no sidewalk to get to them. The funniest part is the traffic is significantly worse than similar city populations because most of the intersections are high risk high speed crossings.

I always focus on how I will view my choices 10+ years down the road. I always regretted voting for bush and McCain. Haven’t regretted voting blue since I pulled my head out of my ass.
My opinion might be more controversial than disliking the game. I only read the book the Netflix series is based on, but it was kind of a terrible book. I enjoyed the story for the most part. The issue for me is the writing style is terrible. I kept losing track of who was talking or doing something because the author never reconfirms which character said or did the thing. It ruined the book for me.
