There has been a fork out for a long time now that is still developed, it’s called syncthing-fork

That’s why I only use immich as a gallery and not as a photo backup solution. I manage the syncing with syncthing.
You can not make the home button go to a custom URL in Firefox Android… I already explained it.
None of that shit means you know anything. It’s hilarious the dumb shit you chose to qualify. I consider all those things elementary.
Funny how others knew it was Android but you couldn’t figure it out, hmmmmm

Sounds like you’re coping because you’re realizing that you don’t know shit about computers.

Also, not being able to set the home button to a custom URL is fucking crazy. I want the home button to take me to my selfhosted dashboard that has all my services and links on it. I don’t want the home button to take me to the dumbass firefox page and have to click another link to get to it.
Been using Kiwi instead for this sole reason but now Kiwi is dead. I’m not willing to concede this workflow and make an extra click because Mozilla is braindead and can’t implement a functional home button like every single browser since the beginning of time.

Lmao, are you upset by my statements? I must have pressed a button, huh? Sorry to hear you feel insecure about running Windows. Just accept being tech illiterate, it’s okay.
I mean, if your company forces it then you don’t have an option. My company uses Windows so I have to use it for work and that’s exactly how I know it’s a joke of an OS. All my personal devices run linux.
I’d be weirded out they are running Windows. I no longer trust the technical opinion of anyone that runs that joke of an OS.
tritonium@midwest.socialto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's Some Tech That Was Better Than It Is Now?21·11 months agoNo that’s not the exception cordless tools will kill anything from even 10 years ago in torque and speed and weight. This idiot doesn’t know anything. A cheap brushless hercules drill from HF will absolutely destroy a nicad professional grade 10 year old Milwaukee or dewalt.
tritonium@midwest.socialto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's Some Tech That Was Better Than It Is Now?23·11 months agoAgain, you have no fucking clue what you’re talking about. Tools have improved significantly. I’ve been in the trades for a long time, I started at 14 years old working for my step dad remodeling houses and doing roofing and plumbing and electrical over 25 years ago. I know what tools were like back then, and the tools we have today. And the tools and processes are night and day better today. Just stfu, you have no clue.
The power tools today kill anything from 10 years ago in torque and speed and weight. Lmao… you think the brushed motors with nicad batteries were better than the brushless motor with lithium we have today? The cordess circ saws could barely make it through a 1/2" sheet of plywood 15 years ago and now tgey rip through it like a corded saw. Fucking please buddy. Ratchets and wrenches have significantly improved with less back drag and more teeth meaning less degree of swing. Wrenches with ratchet ends. All kinds of specialty tools that didn’t exist Processes in plumbing and electrical with pex and other types of clamp and crimp fittings have significantly improved. I can go on and on across multiple tools and processes. You are a moron.
I use healthchecks for all my scripts and making sure my docker containers and services are up. If anything goes down or errors then I get sent a telegram message immediately.
